Yala road bomb injures volunteers

Two defence volunteers were seriously injured by a roadside bomb explosion in Yala’s Muang district on Wednesday morning.

Pol Capt Rusdee Kado, duty officer at Muang Yala police station, said he received a report of a bomb attack on a local road at Ban Bor Jed Look in tambon Yupo of Muang district about 7.15am.

He led a team of police and an explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) unit to the scene.

    I can't understand why they travel on motorbikes. These soldiers are just sitting ducks riding around on motorbikes with no protection and no backup support.

    Injured seriously I guess that they lost some of their limbs.

    When will the government give these soldiers the support they need to prevent these terrible injuries.
