Fire at Yala rubber smoking plant

A fire at a rubber factory operated by a leading exporter in Muang district of Yala on Wednesday night caused an estimated 10 million baht damage.

The police were informed about 11.40pm of a blaze at South Land Rubber and alerted the fire brigade.

About 10 fire trucks and crews took more than three hours to bring the flames under control, and they then continued to spray water over the site for several hours.
