Drug suspect gives up, to fight charges

A suspect allegedly linked to a major drugs network in the South on Thursday turned himself in to the Office of the Narcotics Control Board (ONCB), saying he would fight the charges against him in court.

Maruding Ismail, 33, was wanted on drug charges under a warrant issued by the Criminal Court.

Police have accused him of being a member of a major drug network operated by Sandee Jehwae, an inmate at Songkhla Central Prison.

I have to admit that I'm somehow impressed by the action of this suspected drug link. I hope he'll recieve a fair trial.
