Palestinian hunger striker dies

A Palestinian prisoner died in an Israeli jail on Saturday, officials said, as the number of inmates on hunger strike climbed to 11, according to the Palestinian Prisoners' Club.

Palestinian protestors are seen through a car tyre as they perform Friday prayers next to Ofer prison, near the West Bank city of Ramallah, following a demonstration in support of Palestinian detainees on hunger strike in Israeli prisons on Friday.

Arafat Jaradat was "arrested a few days ago. He was killed during the investigation," the Palestinian minister in charge of prisoner affairs Issa Qaraqaa said.

Khun Spiceman I am merely quoting an elderly Jewish gentleman who now resides in Australia and who has lived in both places (Israel and Germany) long enough to witness both the Nazis and the Israelis.

If only more islamic militants would take the example and starve themselves to death for islam rather than kill innocent people.

There is no such place as Palestine. It was a name given to the area by the Romans to deny the jewish rebels a homeland. Palestinians would be better off if they just got on with living life instead of listening to the mad mullahs who seek a worldwide caliphate in the name of islam. Disc 1. Are you saying that Israel does not have a right to protect itself against these religious nuts?

Hatred is like drinking poison and hoping that your enemy will die. So, this is what hatred can do to a person, regardless of race, gender, Colors, religion, and ethnicity.

Khun Flashfood #1, please, read "Son of Hamas," by Mosab Hassan Yousef. Mosab was jailed by the Israeli many times, caught throwing rocks at Israeli troops and tanks, and personally found out the hard way that the senior Palestinian prisoners were treating their fellow junior prisoners much worse than what the Israeli ever do to them. The Israeli actually let the Palestinians prisoners run their own section in prison. And just in case, you don't know who Mosab is, he is the elder son of one of the founders of Hamas, Sheikh Hassan Yousef. And because of that, he was treated like a prince while in Israeli jail.

According to my fathers friend ,now in his 90s who escaped Nazi Germany in 1938, Israels' treatment of the Palestinians is similar to Hitlers treatment of the Jews.
He has visited many times and is ashamed of what he's seen.
