Buriram draws in Champions opener

Buriram United came from one goal down to draw the opening match against Vegalta Sendai as the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Champions League competition began on Tuesday.

After a scoreless first half, host Sendai of Japan took the lead in the 52nd minute when Ryang Yong-Gi converted a penalty.

Osmar Barba Ibanez levelled the match for the visiting Thunder Castle by putting the ball into the net on 75th minute in the match at Sendai Stadium in Sendai, Japan.
