Transvestites quizzed after Turk robbed

CHON BURI – About 50 transvestites were rounded up and taken to the police station after a foreign tourist complained he was drugged and robbed in Pattaya, according to reports.

Twenty police and volunteers escorted the transvestites, who were apprehended along a two kilometre stretch of Beach road in Muang Pattaya on Wednesday.

The police action followed a complaint by a Turkish tourist on Tuesday.
