The Department of Special Investigation (DSI) will bring fraud charges against PCC Development and Construction Co (PCC) after receiving complaints from 20 companies subcontracted by PCC to build police stations nationwide, Pol Lt-Col Thawal Mangkhang, a special cases specialist said on Monday.

PCC was awarded a controversial contract by the Royal Thai Police Office (RTPO) for 396 police station buildings in all nine provincial police regions.

The firm is alleged to have subcontracted other companies to do the work in violation of the contract, and the construction projects were left largely unfinished and abandoned.

Pol Lt-Col Thawal said the DSI would wait to see whether the RTPO decides to extend or terminate the contract with PCC when it expires on March 14.

What? How could they even think of an extension? It should of been already terminated!

while they are at it...they may as well go after all the other smaller contractors that do the same thing. Happens to so many people and police never do anything.
