PM 'sometimes' thinks like Thaksin

STOCKHOLM - Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra said Monday during a visit to Sweden that she "sometimes" thinks like her brother and former premier Thaksin.

''We've grown up together, so sometimes we think the same,'' Yingluck told reporters when asked about repeated allegations that she is merely holding down the fort until her brother, who was ousted in a 2006 coup, can return.

''But it doesn't mean when you think the same that you'll be under the shadow of him. Because if I'd be in the shadow of my brother ... I don't think we (could) gain more (of the) popular vote in Thailand,'' she added.

So, she said the obvious, not just sometimes but always... people will not really appreciate what she is doing in her country as her main end goal is to save his brother arrested.

"All the voters who voted for PT in the 2011 general election also thinks like Thaksin." My wife is from Chiang Mai, has a PhD she really earned, and is a dyed in the wool red shirt. But she does not like Thaksin. She is not part of the Borg.

PTP didn't win the majority of votes. It's in control due to a coalition of parties. They didn't get an outright majority. Ms. Yingluck needs to better understand this.

D8 Android - Are you accusing all the voters who supported the PTP of being greedy, corrupt, megalomaniacs who feel that Thailand is their feeding trough?
