A 19-year-old woman was abducted by three men in an auto-rickshaw and gang-raped in New Delhi's suburb of Ghaziabad, police said Thursday.

"The girl has complained that the three men gang-raped her after beating and robbing her of her cash and cellphone", Ghaziabad police chief Nitin Tewari said by phone.

The incident happened Saturday, but broke in local media Thursday.
