Japan help for recycling in Phitsanulok

The Japanese government has made a 1.88 million baht grant towards building of a waste management centre and promotion of recycling in tambon Samokhae in Muang district of Phitsanulok province, the Japanese embassy announced in Bangkok.

Samokhae lies close to tourist attractions and because of economic development has increasing amounts of waste generated by tourists and workers drawn to city.

The tambon administration has only limited capacity to dispose of and control this garbage, which is accumulating and spreading, giving off a foul smell which pollutes the neighbourhood.

One answer D1 is because they are spending everything on Rice Pledges this year and next and then the High Speed Chinese built and sourced railway will be suck up all the funds.

Like the Rice Pledging scheme there is no plan for the railway-no B/E data on bums in seats needed to cover the cost of even printing tickets.

Have you even been in the Shanghai Hi Speed train- it is lovely because there are only a few passenger aboard.

Why does the Thai government need Japan to finance this?
