A feng shui master says the days in the 2013 print edition of Chinese calendars being used nationwide were wrongly calculated, causing a chain-reaction mess in planning and scheduling auspicious events and religious rituals over a 30 day period, the Thai Rath online edition reported on Wednesday.
The Thai Rath report quoted Thanakorn Tan-arwatchanakarn as saying that the miscalculations were found in the number of days in the fourth and fifth Chinese lunar months – between June 8 and July 8 in the standard Thai calendar.
The fourth month was supposed to have 30 days, but instead it had 29 days in the current Chinese lunar calendar, and there should be 29 days in the fifth month, but it instead had 30 days.
