Prayad wins Thailand Open

PATTAYA - Prayad Marksaeng came from far back to win the $1 million Thailand Open on Sunday by a sensational three shots over Australian Scott Strange.

On the last day of a tournament that suffered numerous weather setbacks, Prayad fired seven birdies to card 64 and head the field with a four-day total of 264, a full 24 shots under par.

Australia's Nick Cullen finished third at 21-under, followed by six players tied for fourth place.
