Boy killed, 10 wounded by South bomb

An 8-year-old boy was killed and 10 people wounded by a bomb detonated in the heart of Pattani township on Thursday afternoon, reports said.
The reports said the explosion occurred about 1.30pm. A bomb hidden in a motorcycle parked in front of an ice cream shop on Suwanmongkol road in Muang district of Pattani was detonated remotely.
The explosion also damaged the ice cream shop, seven cars and three motorcycles and shattered windows of 10 nearby buildings, including the probation office and police cooperative shop.
