Windows XP to be retired in April 2014

An estimated 7.2 million users of Windows XP installed in personal computers (PCs) in Thailand are being advised to upgrade to Windows 7 or Windows 8, because Microsoft will end support for the 11-year-old operating system on April 8, 2014.

Microsoft (Thailand) will start offering a special upgrade programme in May.
