Train derailment in Lampang

A freight train was derailed on Thursday morning near Mae Moh railway station in Lampang province, delaying North-bound train services, reports said.
The train was delivering concrete sleepers from Kaeng Koi railway station in Saraburi province to Lamphun station when it jumped the tracks at kilometre marker 596 between Pang Puay and Mae Moh stations in Mae Moh district of Lampang, at 6.17am in the morning.
The State Railway of Thailand (SRT) has rushed repair crews and equipment to the spot. The last derailed carriage was due to have been put back on the tracks by noon.
