Narathiwat gas refilling plant bombed

Three female villagers were injured in a series of explosions after six suspected militants broke into a gas refilling factory in Muang district of Narathiwat province and set two home-made bombs early Sunday morning.
Pol Sub-Lt Nirat Chusuk, the duty officer at Muang district police, said the incident occurred at about 2am at the gas refilling factory of Nara Petroleum Limited Partnership on Phetkasem (Pattani-Narathiwat) highway in tambon Lamphu of Muang district.
According to information from Madohing Chesani, chief of Village Group 10 in tambon Lamphu, and other witnesses, about six armed men broke into the factory and tied up Harong Dolo, a security guard, with rope before going into the factory's warehouse where a gas tank with a holding capacity of 8 tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) was located.
