The Crime Suppression Division (CSD) has been asked to investigate the murder of a local election canvasser in Nakhon Si Thammarat following a complaint that the local police probe had stalled.
Surin Khongthong, 45, was killed on July 21, but Na Bon police say they cannot identify the gunmen despite there being a security camera near the crime scene, according to the victim's elder brother Rungniran Khongthong.
Mr Rungniran met CSD officers on Friday to file a complaint over the slow police progress.
