A team of officials from the National Human Rights Commission (NHRC) will tomorrow visit the rubber protest sites in Nakhon Si Thammarat's Cha-uat district in a fact-finding trip on Monday, Sept 2, reports said.
The team will be led by Niran Pitakwatchara, chairman of the NHRC's subcommittee on people's political rights, will be at the protest sites at Ban Toon railway crossing and Khuan Nong Hong intersection.
The fact-finding trip was prompted by complaints to the NHRC about human rights violation against protesting rubber and oil palm growers.
