Thai stocks slipped 0.15% on Friday as investors across Asia took profits after the previous day's big Fed-fuelled rally.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand Index shed 2.3 points from Thursday to close at 1,486.76, an increase of 6% from the previous Friday's close of 1,401.08. Turnover was 44.4 billion baht, with 9.82 billion shares traded.
The SET gained almost 50 points on Thursday in heavy turnover of 82 billion baht after the US Federal Reserve surprised markets by announcing that it was not ready to scale back its monetary stimulus programme yet.
