Cars to be towed off Bangkok's streets

The Metropolitan Police Bureau is to start removing illegally parked vehicles from Bangkok streets later this month, in a drive to ease traffic congestion in the capital.

Pol Maj Gen Adul Narongsak, the MPB deputy chief in charge of traffic, warned motorists on Tuesday that police will begin towing vehicles obstructing traffic from 10 roads starting Oct 21.
