The relatives of those killed in the 2010 political violence on Monday lashed out at the Pheu Thai Party for revising the amnesty bill proposed by Samut Prakan MP Worachai Hema, arguing the proposed blanket amnesty is intended to absolve former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra of wrongdoings.
They issued a statement attacking Pheu Thai for not listening to the voices of ordinary people.
The statement was read in public by Mrs Payao, mother of volunteer nurse Kamolkade Akkahad who was shot dead on May 19, 2010 at Wat Pathum Wanaram.
