The mission of the Ministry of Industry is as follows: 1) Oversee policy and strategy for industrial development in Thailand as well as directing and encouraging the industry to keep pace with the world. 2) Create opportunities and an environment that is conducive to investment and business. 3) Support the building of industrial enterprises and entrepreneurs in order to compete in the global market. 4) Supervise the business industry for a well-balanced and sustainable development and be responsible to consumers, communities and society. 5) Integration and monitoring of the implementation of policies and strategies for industrial development agencies and sectors involved.
