Founded on Somdej Phra Srinagarindra Boromrajajonani's intent, Mae Fah Luang Foundation was set up to raise the quality of life of those deprived of opportunities in order for them to enjoy a better life through education, become self-reliant and be driven to create life opportunities while having a concern for the forest so that the principle of co-existence between man and forest could be appreciated. The Foundation also encourages the conservation of Lanna and tribal arts, traditions and cultures.
