In 1981, with funds from an award received by the John D. Rockefeller Foundation and with the support of other founding members, the Foundation for Slum Child Care (FSCC) was established. The main objective is providing healthcare to young children such as running daycare facilities for babies and small infants in poverty stricken slum areas of Thailand.
