To celebrate new year festival, the Bangkok Metropolitan Administration (BMA) has lined the streets from Chidlom intersection through to the National Stadium BTS station with spectacular lighting to make the world-class shopping destination of Ratchaprasong even more attractive to foreign and local visitors alike.
The highlight of the "BMA New Year Lighting Decorations 2013" campaign, however, is a tunnel of LED lights which has been set up for the first time in front of Siam Square opposite Siam Paragon shopping centre. This luminous display is expected to leave a lasting impression on all visitors to the popular high-street sphere.
The campaign switches on between 5.30pm and 11.30pm daily until Jan 15, except on New Year's Eve when the lights will stay on until 2am, after the countdown to 2013 is complete.
