Mahidol University's College of Management will be hosting a symposium entitled "Health care in turbulent times: What is the new role of healthcare professionals?"
It will be held in the Grande Ballroom of Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel on May 30 from 1pm to 3.30pm.
A collaboration between Siriraj and Ramathibodi hospitals, the event will feature four healthcare professionals discussing issues with a significant impact on Thailand's health and wellness industries.
The four are the Ministry of Public Health's Dr Vichai Tienthavorn, Siriraj Hospital Faculty of Medicine deputy dean Prof Prasit Watanapa, Bangkok Hospital's Dr Chatree Duangnet and IBM's Paul Tan.
The symposium aims to help promote an understanding among the Thai and Asean community of the importance of producing more qualified professionals and increase global connections.
Students majoring in medical and business management and people working in health care and wellness organisations are encouraged to come.
The forum is conducted in English and admission is free. To register online, visit the website www.cmmu.mahidol.ac.th/HWMSymposium. For more information, call 02-206-2000 ext 5803.
