The Board of Trade of Thailand serves as a representative of private trade operators regarding policy and operation between private and governmental sectors. It offers advice to the government and governmental authorities about policies and direction to resolve economic problems. It also helps in solving business operation problems that occurred from governmental system and regulations. It helps educate the private sector on modern business operating techniques as well. In addition, it provides arbitration and reconciles duty guarantee documents for temporary admission of goods (Admission Temporaire Carnet or ATA Carnet) and issuing Certificates of Standard of Products for Exports.
