The Thai Furniture Industries Association was established in 1980. TFA members include furniture makers selling to both the domestic and export markets. Some of its main objectives are: To support and promote industries involved in furniture production. To promote and publicize know-how in all kinds of furniture making techniques. To support and protect the interests of those involved in making furniture and related products. To be headquarters of, and representative of the members in exchanging ideas and technical knowledge with those concerned n the furniture industry. To contact and coordinate with other associations, both domestic and international, that are involved in the furniture industry. To promote cooperation and understanding between its members.
