The SongKhla Chamber of Commerce was established in 1983. The objectives of the Chamber of Commerce are as follows: 1. Promoting various enterprises for the benefit of industry, agriculture, trade, finance and the economy over any such gathering and dissemination of trade statistics. Research on trade and economy, tourism promotion, certification of origin of goods, standards of product quality, inspection standards, establishing and operating educational institutions with respect to trade and the economy. 2. For consultation and advice to members about the financial industry, agriculture, economy and trade to help facilitate various business members. 3. To provide advice and recommendations to the government. 4. Offer support concerning the trade between traders and the government. 5. provide assistance and promotion of charity and public assistance.
