Travel rebound lifts BAFS outlook

Bangkok Aviation Fuel Service (BAFS) projects 7% revenue growth thanks to the rebound in the tourism and aviation sector.

"Based on our forecast of a 3% rise in oil volume, our service income is projected to rise by 6% for the year. When we include other revenue, such as from property leases, diesel storage and outsourcing income, we project 7% growth for the full year," said M.R. Supadis Diskul, the BAFS managing director.

BAFS reported second-quarter revenue of 522 million baht, an increase of 8.2% from the same period last year. Net profit rose 19.1% year-on-year to 146.7 million baht, with total flight services by the group up 2.4% to 35,327 flights in the quarter.
