Turkish Airlines has ended its 22-year contract with its local general sales agent, Gulf Express Transport Agency Co (Geta), in order to save up to 30 million baht a year in commission payments.
Turkish Airlines will introduce premium economy class on flights to Bangkok on its B777 jetliner.
The Turkish flag carrier's Bangkok office has assumed the function of ticket sales from Geta, though Geta will continue to offer GSA services for Turkish's cargo business.
