At expo, TAA touts its future workhorse

CHIANG MAI : Although the updated version of the A320 jet is not expected to join its fleet until 2016, Thai AirAsia (TAA) has kicked off an early publicity campaign to underscore its key marketing message: new aircraft and a young fleet.
TAA, Thailand's largest no-frills carrier, is using the Royal Flora Ratchaphruek 2011 in Chiang Mai as a showcase for the A320neo single-aisle jet that promises better fuel efficiency and lower emissions.
