Congestion has returned to Suvarnabhumi Airport with traffic fully recovered from the flood crisis.
Holiday season travel and flights diverted from the old Don Mueang Airport, closed since Oct 25 due to the deluge, drove the surge in air passenger volume through Bangkok's international airport this month.
Anirut Thanomkulbutra, president of Airports of Thailand Plc (AoT), said combined passengers passing through Suvarnabhumi this month came to a daily average of 137,000, up 9.8% over the same period last year.
