Airports of Thailand Plc (AoT) plans to bundle the concession rights for firms to build and operate private jet terminals at Phuket and Chiang Mai airports.
The plan is being mooted to ensure that the proposed terminal in Chiang Mai _ seen as not economically viable, at least for the near future _ takes off at the same time as a similar facility in Phuket.
The package deal forms part of a new strategy to put long-delayed plans in place for private jet terminals in the two cities.
