Bangkok Airways will begin service from Koh Samui to Kuala Lumpur in March to boost connectivity between its second home base and international destinations.
From March 1, the Malaysian capital will be the third international destination the privately owned airline serves directly from the Thai resort island. The other two are Singapore and Hong Kong, with daily flights and 10 per week, respectively.
The Koh Samui-Kuala Lumpur launch will be aligned with the flights through Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia Airlines, soon to become a code-share partner with Bangkok Airways.
