Orient Thai objects to TAA's T1 demand

Airlines have urged the airport authority not to cave in to a demand by Thai AirAsia (TAA) for incentives including turning over a whole terminal for its exclusive use in exchange for shifting its base to Don Mueang airport.

Lots of space but little is used. Don Mueang now serves only one scheduled airline — Nok Air. BOONSONG KOSITCHOTETHANA

The privately owned Orient Thai Airlines is a vocal opponent to TAA's proposal that Airports of Thailand Plc (AoT) provide Terminal 1 (T1) at Don Mueang Airport for it exclusively.
