AoT rush to find concessionaires raises eyebrows

Airports of Thailand Plc (AoT) is rushing to find concessionaires to provide aircraft ground-support and passenger-handling services to beat the Oct 1 deadline for the full opening of Don Mueang airport.

But the quick pace has raised some eyebrows of bidders for the concessions, as the state-controlled airport operator has offered an unusually tight timeline between issuing the terms of reference (ToR) and bid submissions.
