Thai Airasia to link Xi'an

Thai AirAsia (TAA) is adding Xi'an, a historical city in central China, to its expanding Thailand-China service with a daily flight commencing on Nov 16.

Bangkok-Xi'an will become the budget airline's fifth Thailand-China route as the carrier taps growing air travel by the Chinese.

The introduction of Xi'an, famous for its Terra Cotta Warriors, follows on the heels of Wuhan, the capital of Hubei province in central China, where TAA will start service beginning on Oct 19.
