Bangkok Airways deflates LCC rumours

Branching out into the low-cost carrier (LCC) segment is not on Bangkok Airways' radar screen as it intends to consolidate its efforts in growing its mainstream premium airline operation.

President Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth ruled out reports suggesting the carrier was going to join the LCC fray as he reaffirmed a divestiture to end the airline's 44-year private ownership.
