The TCC Hotels Group plans to spend 15 billion baht over the next five years to build seven hotels after signing seven management agreements with Marriott International Hotel.
TCC president Wallapa Traisorat said the investment will go mainly to upgrading hotels in high-potential locations in Bangkok, Phuket, Pattaya and Hua Hin.
"Thailand will become a strategic location for the region, thanks to the bright prospect of the country's hospitality, Mice market and the upcoming Asean Economic Community," she said.
