Airport flight management upgrading

The Transport Ministry is engaged in a pilot project to collaborate with Singapore's Changi Airport in exchanging flight management information.

The ministry is also considering working with Hong Kong International Airport in the same field.

The arrangement with the Singapore airport began about two months ago, Deputy Transport Minister Prin Suwannathat said on Thursday.

I wish they can also collaborate with Changi Airport and learn from them how to maintain an International airport consistently and rotationally throughout. Suwanaphumbi is already coming apart in many areas internally due to to lack of maintenance - walls, floorings, sub-standard new installations, we can see it everywhere as we use the facility. We feel safe and comfortable and a sense of relief when arriving at Changi. In Bangkok, I always feel like I am at the warehouse collecting my goods. Sorry, but Thai standards are just not there yet.
