“This means that if the Thai economy is strong, more foreign capital will flow in and this results in the baht's appreciation,” she said.

I am having a second thought about my trip to Thailand due to a few factors:

    1. 50% higher ticket fare than last year
    2. Strong Thai Baht

I will have to pay more for the same trip as last year. I doubt that Thailand will get any of my money if the trend stays this way.

The Knights of Round Table assemble to discuss.

The conclusion is everything is fine and splendid, and let it flows a little more before they buy up a lot of dollars. Then they will interfere and weaken the baht to sell back the dollars, claiming it hurts the tourism industry.

    Politicians and bankers unite!

"However, current capital inflow was not mainly for profit speculation. Investors wanted the higher rate of return, which was normal."

BOTH ARE THE SAME, wanting highest return! Speculators and investors come from human nature of wanting most with least risk.
