NCH expects presales to top B1.8bn target by 33%
Pointing to a healthy recovery in the low-rise housing segment, NC Housing Plc (NCH) expects to achieve 2.4 billion baht in presales this year, 33% above its target of 1.8 billion, and also plans to launch an upper-end residential development worth 500 million baht in the fourth quarter.
Managing director Somchao Tanterdtham said demand for low-rise housing had improved, lifting the company's revenue in the first half to 600 million baht from 400 million in the same period last year.
Both periods shared one positive factor, the property tax incentives that expired on June 30 this year, but sentiment this year was better as purchasing power and decision-making improved while banks competed in offering attractive mortgage loan packages before interest rates started rising.
