Bharti Airtel rings up Asean to tap lucrative data services
Bharti Airtel, India's largest mobile telephone operator, plans to expand its operations in this part of the region after having opened its Global Data Services in Thailand and Malaysia during the past week.
Kelton: Greater potential in Asean
"The focus of Bharti has been to push into emerging markets where the margins are far greater than the more mature markets," Drew Kelton, president of enterprise services division of the telecommunication company said in a recent interview with the Bangkok Post.
