FTI: MTP projects to resume soon

Some of the suspended projects at Rayong's Map Ta Phut industrial estate should resume in a couple of weeks now that the Administrative Court has allowed 74 out of the 76 projects to go ahead, Federation of Thai Industries (FTI) chairman Payungsak Chartsuthipol said on Monday.

Mr Payungsak said the investment value of all 76 industrial projects was more than 200 billion baht.Some of the projects should recommence within two weeks as they had already undergone environmental and heath impact assessments,...

    "Map Ta Phut projects to resume soon", means more jobs for Thais, more growth in GDP, better industrial output data, and panicking neighborhood countries (because they know that investors will choose Thailand over them now). Map Ta Phut project owners have assured us that they will follow the laws of 2007 constitution. Whoever doesn't want Thailand to progress are creating chaos by supporting those so-called environmentalists who are looking for some publicity stunts only. Its proven fact that the industries are not harming the Map Ta Phut communities. Hence the bottom line is, let Thailand move forward towards prosperity.

    Good news for the prosper of the Nation. Do not care those environment activists who protest. They want to ruin our economic using old man's tear. How dare they claim themselves as the Peoples of Thailand. Most of Thais are not agree with them. If no industries how Thailand will get Tax , income and even our salary will be paid.
