A fire at the lube oil production arm of Thai Oil on Sunday night caused only marginal damage, said chief executive officer Surong Bulakul.
The nation's largest oil refiner said there was only slight damage at its slop oil tank because it is a reserve tank that stores used lube oil awaiting a retreatment process.
The fire began at 7 pm at the Thai Lube Base in Si Racha, Chon Buri. It took 20 minutes to extinguish the fire. The plant is part of TOP's refinery and petrochemical production complex.
