New Chiang Mai resort to defy low tourism performanceDespite sluggish tourism in Chiang Mai, the Vongvanij Group is planning a 250-million-baht health retreat/residential project in Mae Rim district to be completed within three years.

''Our resort has had an occupancy rate of only 30% on average for two years now,'' he said.
