Acer, the world leader in laptop computers, is repositioning itself to become a leader in mobile services as the laptop market is becoming saturated, says managing director Harry Yang.
It has earmarked a budget of 400 million baht to build brand awareness for smartphones and tablet devices, where it sees more room to grow in the future.
"We are aiming to tap the high growth of mobile touchscreen devices and shifting away from the saturated notebook market," said Mr Yang.
