E-COMMERCE
E-commerce and online services are expected to be hot businesses next year, while consulting, education and healthcare are also gaining in popularity, says Kollakit Thalerngnawachart, the national director of BNI Thailand. The company, part of BNI International, the world's largest business networking and referral firm, said the focal point of local entrepreneurs will be online services and e-commerce, especially through social networking sites, as well as software development.
Consulting and education-related business are also expected to take off in the provincial markets, while healthcare will continue to grow in line with the ageing population.
"However, Thai entrepreneurs still have a limited knowledge of online business and marketing," said Mr Kollakit.
