Malaysians tighten ties with Thais

Malaysian investors intend to increase trade and investment between their country and Thailand to tighten bilateral ties ahead of the Asean Economic Community (AEC) in 2015.
A trade mission comprising 20 Malaysian investors headed by ambassador Nazirah Hussain met with Thai Deputy Prime Minister Kittiratt Na-Ranong to learn about government policy.
They are scheduled to meet today with the Board of Investment (BoI), the Thai Chamber of Commerce, the Federation of Thailand Industries and the Thai Bankers' Association and up to 30 private executives.
